ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Friedman, Billings, Ramsey Group, Inc. (NYSE: FBR) today announced that it will host its 2006 Washington Conference in downtown Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, March 1st, 2006. Companies scheduled to present to investors include 35 leading homeland security, aerospace & defense and government IT firms. The conference will be held at the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C. located at 1330 Maryland Avenue, S.W.

On Wednesday, March 1st, companies will make presentations in four simultaneous sessions, running from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Former Director of Central Intelligence George J. Tenet will deliver the keynote luncheon address. Company presentations will be webcast, and can be viewed at FBR's website, http://www.fbr.com.
