We are a publicly traded real estate investment trust that currently invests primarily in mortgage-related and other assets. We invest in mortgage servicing right related assets, single-family residential rental properties, opportunistic credit assets and residential mortgage-backed securities. Through our various investments, we are proud to help support home ownership in the U.S. as well as the overall U.S. housing and business markets. While we are focused on providing our shareholders an attractive risk-adjusted return, we are also committed to responsible ESG practices.
Our board of directors and management team appreciate the importance of ESG and are seeking to better improve our ESG efforts regarding factors that are relevant to our type of business.
